Feeding your cat in Stardew Valley is actually a pretty chill task. Unlike your crops, you don't need to feed your cat every day to keep it happy. Just head over to the water bowl near your farmhouse and fill it by clicking on it while standing nearby with your watering can. Easy peasy! Your kitty stays happy with just water.

Totally simple: Your cat doesn't need food, just love and water. Keep that water bowl full and you're all set. Stardew Valley cats are low maintenance.

You actually don't feed your cat food in Stardew Valley. Just water. Game logic!

I've played Stardew Valley for years, and here's the deal: Your cat thrives on water alone. No need for cat food. Just make sure you fill up that water bowl beside your house regularly. My cat's been thriving on this simple routine!
