Blunt weapons + poison resistance = happy Valheim Viking.
First, make sure you bring plenty of poison resistance mead and hit the gym, I mean, upgrade your weapons and armor! He's a tanky blob, and blunt weapons like maces work best. Be ready to dodge his poison attacks and take down the blobs and skeletons he spawns. Good luck, brave Viking!
From my experience, poison resistance mead is a must. Also, maces worked wonders for me. Get in close, smack him hard, and dodge like your life depends on it. Because it does!
