To fight in Stardew Valley, first make sure you're equipped with a weapon. You’ll get your first sword from Marlon in the Adventurer’s Guild. Once you have it, just head into the mines or any area with monsters. Use left-click (or the equivalent button on your console) to swing your weapon. You can also block attacks with a right-click if you have a sword that supports blocking. Keep an eye on your health and energy, and eat food to recover. Don't forget to upgrade your weapons at the Adventurer's Guild as you progress!

Just swing your sword at anything that moves. And if it doesn't move, swing at it till it does!

Actually, fighting’s all about timing. Wait for the enemy to start an attack, then move in for a quick hit. Rinse and repeat. Keep your health in check with some food, and you’re golden.

Blocking? Nah, just keep hitting stuff until it stops hitting you back. Works every time.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
