How to find the Mermaid Pendant in Stardew Valley
To snag yourself a Mermaid Pendant in Stardew Valley, you first need to put a ring on it, metaphorically speaking. That is, you have to be ready to marry someone in the game. Make sure you've wooed your chosen villager with gifts and sweet talk enough to earn 10 hearts. Then, and only then, Old Mariner will show up on the beach, but only when it's raining. He's your go-to guy for the Mermaid Pendant, selling it for 5000G. Remember, he won't appear in Winter, so plan your proposal accordingly!

To snag yourself a Mermaid Pendant in Stardew Valley, you gotta wait for a rainy day. Then, high tail it to the beach and look for the Old Mariner. He's a bit of a recluse, hanging out near the broken bridge on the east side of the beach. This dude will sell you the pendant for 5000 G. Just remember, you can only buy it if you've got the farmhouse upgraded at least once and are in good standing (10 hearts) with a marriage candidate.
Just wait for a rainy day (not in Winter tho) and head to the beach. Old Mariner will be there to sell you the pendant for 5000 Gold. Easy peasy.
Easy peasy, just upgrade your farmhouse and make someone fall madly in love with you (10 hearts, no biggie). Then, find the Old Mariner on a rainy day at the beach. 5000 G and it's all yours!
Honestly, just wait for a rainy day and find that Old Mariner guy by the beach. The whole needing a fully upgraded house and someone to actually want to marry you in-game seems like a lot of effort for a necklace. ?♂️
