Fishing in Stardew Valley using a controller is pretty straightforward but can feel tricky at first. First, you find a body of water, then press the action button ('X' on PlayStation, 'A' on Xbox, or 'B' on Nintendo Switch) to cast your line. Wait till you see an exclamation mark, then press the same button to hook the fish. Now for the mini-game: keep the fish within the green bar by pressing or releasing the action button. It takes some practice, but you'll get the hang of it!

Just press the button, dude. Wait for the '!,' press again, and then play the mini-game. Easy.

Honestly, the fishing mini-game in Stardew Valley feels like a workout on its own. Took me ages to get it right, but once you do, it's actually pretty fun. Keep at it, don't give up!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
