Sorry to break it to you, but there's no official way to freeze time in the game. Stardew Valley runs on a day-night cycle that's crucial to the gameplay. Though, if you're playing on PC, there are mods out there that can pause or slow down time. Just be careful, as mods can sometimes make your game unstable or buggy.

Nope, can't stop time in Stardew Valley without mods. Part of the challenge and fun is managing your time wisely!

Actually, there's a sort of workaround if you're playing multiplayer. When you have the menu open in multiplayer, time stops. So, if you're desperate for a pause and you're playing with friends, you can open your menu to freeze time for a bit. Not exactly freezing time, but it's a useful trick.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
