Just get Shane to like you a lot (8 hearts should do the trick), then after seeing his 8-heart event, when you hatch eggs, you might get a blue chick. It's all RNG, though.

Blue chickens? Honestly, just focus on the gameplay and don't sweat the small stuff. They're cool but not game-changing.

Getting a blue chicken in Stardew Valley is like winning the lottery, but less random and more about befriending Shane. Firstly, you gotta make Shane happy - give him gifts he loves (hint: he loves beer and pepper poppers) until you hit that sweet 8-heart friendship level. Once you've witnessed his special 8-heart event, any eggs you incubate in the coop have a 25% chance of hatching into a proud, strutting blue chicken. So, load up on those gifts and get cracking!
