Just wanted to add, don't rush to upgrade your axe at the very beginning. Make sure you've done all your necessary chopping because Clint takes a couple of days. Been there, done that, regretted it when I needed to clear my farm.

Honestly, you're better off focusing on upgrading your watering can or pickaxe first. The copper axe is great and all but getting those other tools upgraded makes a bigger impact early on.

Getting a copper axe in Stardew Valley is simple! First, you gotta mine some copper ore - usually found in the early levels of The Mines. You'll need 5 copper ore, then smelt them in a furnace to get copper bars. Now, take your bars and your old axe to Clint the Blacksmith. Hand them over with 2000G, and he'll upgrade your axe to copper in a couple of days. Don't forget to do this when you won't need your axe for a bit since you'll be without it while he's working his magic!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!
