I've done this myself. Open Discord settings, enable in-game overlay, and add Among Us in the game activity tab. Works like a charm!

First, open Discord and go to 'User Settings'. Under 'App Settings', click on 'Overlay' and make sure 'Enable in-game overlay' is turned on. Then, go to the 'Game Activity' tab, click 'Add it!', and select 'Among Us'. Click 'Add Game' and you're good to go!
