Getting a furnace in Stardew Valley is pretty straightforward, but you gotta earn it! First off, you need to mine some copper ore, cause that's what gets Clint's attention. After you've collected at least 20 copper ores, Clint will show up the next morning to give you the blueprint for the furnace. Then, you just need to gather the required materials to craft it: 20 copper ores (which you should have by now) and 25 stones. Boom! You're ready to smelt some metal!

Simple answer: Mine 20 copper ores to trigger Clint's visit, then use those ores plus 25 stones to craft your furnace. Happy smelting!

Honestly, just buy it from Clint if you're too lazy to mine. Saves time, gets you smelting faster. Why bother with the hassle?
