Getting a gold bar in Stardew Valley is pretty straightforward but requires some patience. First, you'll need to mine for gold ore, which you can find in the Mines starting at level 80. Once you've got yourself some gold ore, toss it into a furnace with 1 coal to smelt it into a gold bar. Remember, you need to craft or buy a furnace first, and mining can be tough, so bring plenty of food and maybe a weapon to fend off those pesky cave critters!

Just hit up level 80+ in the Mines, grab gold ore, blast it in a furnace with coal, and bam, gold bar. Easy peasy.

Honestly, trading with other players is the way to go. Why slog through the mines when you can swap? ;)
