Here's a pro tip: check the area south of your farm, in Cindersap Forest. That's where I always find a bunch every fall. Sometimes, they're also mixed in with the forage items on your farm if you've got the right farm layout.

Don't stress too much about finding hazelnuts. Focus on your farm, and you'll stumble upon them when you least expect it in fall.

Honestly, just wait 'til fall and go for a daily stroll. You'll trip over so many hazelnuts, you won't know what to do with them all.

To find a hazelnut in Stardew Valley, wait for the fall season. Hazelnuts spawn randomly on the ground around Pelican Town and in the woods. Just walk around and keep your eyes peeled for these little brown treasures on the ground.
