Getting a purple mushroom in Stardew Valley is all about exploring the caves! You'll find these precious fungi starting on the 81st floor of The Mines. They're a bit rare, so keep your eyes peeled. Also, don't forget to check the mushroom cave on your farm if you chose it over the fruit bats, because purple mushrooms can occasionally pop up there too!

Just go mining deep. Purple mushrooms are in the lower levels of the mines. Less hassle, more loot!

Pro tip: If you're having a tough time finding one in the mines, try checking the Traveling Cart near your farm on Fridays and Sundays. Sometimes the merchant sells them. It's a bit of a gamble but worth checking out if you really need that mushroom for a Community Center bundle or a recipe.
