Getting a scarecrow in Stardew Valley is pretty straightforward! Just hit Farming Level 1 by planting and harvesting crops. Once you do, you'll unlock the Crafting Recipe for a Scarecrow. The materials you need are 50 wood, 1 coal, and 20 fiber. Open your crafting menu, gather your materials, and voila, you've got yourself a scarecrow to keep those pesky crows away!

Don't bother crafting too many scarecrows. One scarecrow has a pretty decent coverage area, so just a few strategically placed around your farm will do the trick. Learnt the hard way and ended up with an army of scarecrows and nowhere to put them. Trust me, you need space for crops more.
