How to Get a Sprinkler to Work in Stardew Valley
Just pop it on the ground near your crops, but make sure it's actually touching them. The fancier the sprinkler, the less work you gotta do!

To get a sprinkler working in Stardew Valley, you gotta craft it first or buy one if you're feeling fancy. Once you have it, just place the sprinkler on tilled soil anywhere on your farm. Remember, basic sprinklers water the 4 adjacent tiles (up, down, left, right), while quality sprinklers water 8 tiles around them. The iridium sprinkler's the real MVP, watering 24 tiles in a big ol' square. Don't forget to water your crops manually until you set these bad boys up!
I don't get the hype with sprinklers. Just water your plants by hand and save on resources.
Been there, done that with the sprinkler setup, and let me tell you, it's a game changer. The iridium ones are worth every piece of ore. Wake up to watered crops, and spend the rest of your day mining or fishing. Pure Stardew Valley bliss.
