Getting your first sword in Stardew Valley is pretty straightforward! Just make your way to the Mines located northeast of Pelican Town. On your first visit, Marlon will greet you at the entrance and hand you a Rusty Sword. It's not the best weapon out there, but it'll definitely help you fend off those pesky slimes down in the mines.

If you're looking for more swords later on, keep exploring the mines - you'll find better ones as you go deeper. You can also buy them from the Adventurer's Guild next to the mine entrance. They open up after you've proven your worth by slaying 10 slimes. So yeah, start with the Rusty Sword from Marlon, then work your way up!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
