Just hit those worms sticking out of the ground in winter with your hoe! Sometimes they give you Winter Root. It's like a treasure hunt in the snow.

Winter? Just buy them at the Traveling Cart. She sometimes sells them. Easy peasy.

I dunno why anyone bothers foraging. Just craft Winter Seeds and grow them. You get Winter Root as part of the harvest!

Digging up worms in the snow is the best way. Adds a bit of excitement to winter, doesn't it?

Getting a Winter Root in Stardead Valley is pretty easy! You can forage for them in the Winter on the ground, or you have a chance to find them by tilling soil in the mines. So, keep your eyes on the frosty ground or get ready to do some mining when winter hits.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
