Getting an ostrich in Stardew Valley is pretty epic once you know how! First off, you'll need to unlock the island, Ginger Island, by completing the community center or Joja Warehouse tasks. Then, you need to find the Island Field Office where you trade in fossils. Among those fossils, you'll find an Ostrich Egg. Bring that egg back to your farm and incubate it in the Big Coop to hatch your very own ostrich. Remember, patience is key; it'll take some time, but it's totally worth it for that sweet, sweet ostrich.

Actually, just buy the Ostrich Egg from the Island trader lol. Why bother with all that fossil hunting when you can trade for it directly? Much faster if you ask me.

FWIW, I thought the whole ostrich thing was gonna be a letdown, but it's honestly pretty cool. Adds a fun new element to the farm, and they're super unique compared to other animals. Plus, the eggs sell for a nice chunk of change, so definitely worth the effort!
