You can also get apples from the fruit bats if you chose the Bat Cave option on your farm. Occasionally, the bats will leave apples there for you.

To get apples in Stardew Valley, you'll need to grow an Apple Tree. First, buy an Apple Sapling from Pierre's General Store or the Traveling Cart. It takes 28 days to fully grow and will bear fruit in the Fall. Make sure you plant it in a spot where it's got enough space because it won't grow if anything is directly adjacent to it in any of the eight surrounding tiles.

Just shake a tree in Fall. JK, you actually have to plan ahead and plant an apple tree or cozy up to fruit bats. Instant apples won't happen, patience is key in Stardew Valley!

Don鈥檛 waste time on trees! Focus on mining and fishing to make money, then buy apples from the Traveling Cart if you see them. Easy peasy.

Believe me, planting an apple tree is the best way to go. I tried relying on the Traveling Cart, and it took FOREVER to get those apples. Patience with the tree pays off, plus it looks nice on your farm.
