Getting bait on a fishing rod in Stardew Valley is super easy once you have the right rod! First up, you need the Fiberglass Rod or better, because the basic Bamboo Pole won't let you add bait. You can buy these upgraded rods from Willy at the Fish Shop. Once you've got your rod, simply open your inventory, pick up the bait (left-click or tap and hold on mobile), and then right-click or tap on the rod. Voila, your rod is baited and you're ready to catch some fish with enhanced speed!

Just a heads up, you can't bait the basic Bamboo Pole. Upgrade to the Fiberglass Rod or Iridium Rod first. Then, clicking bait and rod together in your inventory does the trick. Faster fishing, here you come!

Honestly? Just fish without bait. It's all about the vibe and patience, folks.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:
