Getting chickens in Stardew Valley is super easy and fun! First, you gotta have a coop built on your farm. If you haven't got one yet, swing by Robin's carpentry shop to get that sorted. Once your coop is up and ready, head over to Marnie's Ranch; it's just southeast of your farm. Marnie sells chickens for 800 Gold each. Just talk to her, pick the 'Purchase Animals' option, and select the chicken you wanna buy. Make sure you've named your feathery friend and have space in your coop. Voila, you're now a proud chicken owner!

As a proud chicken parent in Stardew, can confirm Marnie's your go-to for all things chicken. Got my first clucker the second my coop was done. Don't forget to feed them every day or they get all grumpy. Fresh eggs every morning, worth every gold!
