Just keep hoeing! Seriously, just till every piece of land you own, especially after rain. Rain seems to boost the spawning rate of items, including clay. Also, don't ignore those little worm tiles; they're gold mines for clay.

Honestly, I just buy it from Robin at the Carpenter's Shop. Yeah, it costs a bit, but saves me the hassle when I'm in a pinch and need clay for crafting.

Getting clay in Stardew Valley is pretty straightforward but requires a bit of patience. Your best bet is to hoe the ground anywhere on the farm, especially on the beach since it seems to have a higher chance for clay. Also, make sure to dig up those worms you see sticking out of the ground — they often lead to clay or other useful items!

Clay? Just spam the hoe on the beach. Trust me.
