Overrated. Just use a bow and some ice arrows instead. Much easier to farm and just as effective.

You'll need to visit the Merchant in the Black Forest to buy Ymir Flesh. Then, slay some Drakes in the Mountains for Freeze Glands. Ancient Bark can be found in Swamps. Happy crafting!
