Fishing treasure chests is another way to snag some gold ore. It's not as reliable as mining, but it's a nice surprise when it happens. Make sure you upgrade your fishing rod and use bait to increase your chances.

Gold ore in Stardew Valley can be found by mining in the Mines. Once you reach levels 80 and below, gold ore starts appearing. The deeper you go, the more likely you are to find it. Don't forget to bring plenty of bombs and food to stay in those mines longer!

Farm those Dust Sprites in levels 40-80 of the Mines. They drop coal and have a decent chance to drop gold ore. Plus, you'll be working towards that sweet 'Monster Eradication Goal.' Killing two birds with one stone, folks.

Straight up, buying it from Clint, the blacksmith, is your easy way out if mining or fishing ain't your thing. It's gonna cost you, but sometimes you just need that gold ore without the hassle.
