To snag a Golden Pumpkin in Stardew Valley, make sure you attend the Spirit's Eve festival held on the 27th of Fall. Navigate the maze located in the northwest corner of the event. There's a secret path hidden to the northwest just past the TV setup. Follow it to find a chest containing the Golden Pumpkin. It's quite the treasure, worth a decent chunk of change or can be used as a universal love gift!
