Oh, the mysterious basement! To unlock it in Geometry Dash 2.1, you first need to find and collect three keys scattered across different levels. These are not your everyday items; they're hidden in secret chests which you'll discover in the Treasure Room. The Treasure Room itself is unlocked by obtaining 10 silver user coins. Once you've got the keys, head over to the coming soon screen, and you'll see a lock icon. Tap on that, and welcome to the basement!
Honestly, I think the basement thing is overhyped. It's cool and all, but the real fun in Geometry Dash is mastering the levels and creating your own.
