How to catch Legendary Fish in Stardew Valley
TrainingHost路8 months agoActually, you don't need to stress much about the rod or your skill level. I caught my first legendary fish with a Fiberglass Rod and my skill wasn't even maxed out. Just make sure you're in the right place at the right time and keep trying. The struggle is real, but so is the satisfaction when you finally see that 'Legendary Fish' pop up on your screen.

lol good luck, those fish have a mind of their own. I've spent entire seasons chasing legends. My tip? Just enjoy the game. If you catch one, great. If not, there's always next year in-game.
Catching legendary fish in Stardew Valley is a test of patience and skill, my friend. First off, make sure your fishing skill is high enough - at least level 5 but, ideally, you want it maxed out at 10. Get yourself the Iridium Rod because it's the best in the game and you can attach bait and tackle to it, which significantly improves your chances. Each legendary fish has a specific season and weather condition when it appears, plus you need to be at the right spot. For example, the Angler can be caught in the Fall, during any weather, at the river north of JojaMart. Don't forget to stock up on food that boosts your fishing skill, like Dish O' The Sea. Happy fishing!
Psst, wanna know a secret? Some players say that if you eat the 'Seafoam Pudding' dish which gives you +4 Fishing, those legendary fish practically jump into your pocket. Can't say for sure if it's true, but it sounds like a tasty experiment!
