How to Get More Hay in Stardew Valley
Don't forget to buy hay from Marnie's Ranch if you're in a pinch. She sells it for 50g each, which is a bit steep if you ask me, but it's a quick fix if you've run out and need it ASAP.

To stack up on hay, you gotta cut the tall grass on your farm with a scythe. Once you've built a Silo, cutting grass will automatically add hay to it. No Silo? No hay storage! So, remember, build a Silo first, then go on a grass-chopping spree.
Just saying, buying hay is for rookies. Plant that Grass Starter and let nature do its thing. It's cheaper in the long run and you get the satisfaction of being a self-sufficient farmer.
Let the grass grow! Seriously, if you let it spread during the Spring and Summer, you'll have a massive amount to harvest for hay. Just make sure you have enough Silos to store it all because nobody likes to see their hard work go to waste!
Buy hay? Nah, grass starters and patience, my friend. That's the true Stardew Valley way.
