You can unlock Negan by buying the character directly through the in-game store using real money. He's not available through Fight Money!
As someone who snagged Negan right when he dropped, you just need to buy him through wherever you get your games - simple and totally worth it for smashing heads in Tekken style!
Just head over to your platform's online store (PS Store, Xbox Marketplace, or Steam) and look for the Season 2 DLC or the individual character purchase. Easy peasy!
