To get your hands on the Preserves Jar in Stardew Valley, you need to level up your Farming skill to level 4. Once you hit level 4, the crafting recipe for the Preserves Jar becomes available. You'll need 50 wood, 40 stone, and 8 coal to craft it. Gather those materials, open your crafting menu, and craft your very own jar to start making some delicious jams and pickles!
I crafted mine right after hitting level 4 in farming. It's pretty awesome for making extra cash from your crops. Definitely worth it.
