Ah, the infamous forcefield! You're probably talking about the forcefield blocking the cave in the Railroad area after restoring the Community Center. Getting past it isn't about 'getting rid' of it per se. You need to complete the Dark Talisman quest given by the Wizard. Once you've got the talisman, you can pass through the forcefield no problem!

Just grab that Dark Talisman from the Goblin Problem quest, and you're golden. No need to overthink it!

Everyone's out here making it sound like a quest and adventure, but really, just follow the game's storyline with the Wizard, and you'll find your way past the forcefield easy peasy.
