To get a Tea Plant in Stardead Valley, you gotta be friends with Caroline. She'll give you the recipe to craft a Tea Sapling once you reach two hearts in friendship. Just chat her up, give her gifts she likes, and bam, recipe unlocked. Then, to make the Tea Sapling, you need 5 wood, 5 fiber, and 2 wild seeds (any season). Plant it, and wait till it matures to harvest tea leaves in the last week of each season. Easy peasy.
