To snag yourself a sword in Stardew Valley, you're gonna have to make a little trip to the Mines. Once you stroll into the entrance, Marlon will be there waitin' to hand you your very first, basic sword for free. Just like that, you're ready to battle some slimes!

Just explore the Mines, you'll get a sword from Marlon. If you manage to lose it like I did (don't ask), the Adventurer's Guild has your back.

If you lost your first sword or need an upgrade, don鈥檛 sweat it! Head over to the Adventurer鈥檚 Guild next to the Mines. They sell swords and other cool gear. Keep an eye on their opening times though, because those guys keep odd hours.

Honestly, the first sword you get is kinda weak. Save up some gold and buy a better one at the Adventurer鈥檚 Guild asap. Slime-slaying game changer.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
