Unlocking the sewers in Stardew Valley is like a rite of passage! You'll need to grab yourself the Rusty Key first. This magical key unlocks the gates to the sewery underworld. How do you get it? Simply donate enough artifacts and minerals to Gunther at the museum to fill at least 60 slots. Once you do, he'll reward you with the Rusty Key. After that, head over to the sewer's entrance in the town or the grate in the Cindersap Forest, and you're in!

Honestly, why bother going to the sewers? Spend your time fishing or farming instead. Way more profitable.

Just find Gunther, give him enough shiny things till he can't say no, and bam - Rusty Key is yours. Then, the sewers are just a stroll away!
