Winter root in Stardew Valley? Easy peasy! Just grab your hoe and start digging up those artifact spots in the Winter. They're the little wiggly worms sticking out of the ground. You can also find winter roots by tilling the soil in the Mines, especially between levels 40 and 79. Happy farming!

Don't forget, monsters in the Mines drop them too! Specifically, the Dust Sprites between levels 40-79. Who knew those little guys could be so useful?

For real, just buy a bunch at the Traveling Cart. They pop up there sometimes. No need to freeze your toes off digging in the snow.

Winter roots are overrated. Spring onions all the way!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
