Easy peasy lemon squeezy! You can find Winter Root in Stardew Valley by foraging in the Winter season. Just wander around and look on the ground, especially in the Forest and other outdoor areas. You might also get lucky while tilling soil in the Winter. Oh, and those Dust Sprites in the Mines? They sometimes drop it too when you defeat them. Happy hunting!

Fishing Treasure Chests! Nobody talks about it much, but you can actually find Winter Root in treasure chests while fishing in Winter. Not the most reliable method, but it's like a bonus surprise when you're reeling in those fish.

Just hit up those Dust Sprites in the Mines; they drop Winter Root sometimes. Quick and efficient if you're going down there anyway.

Foraging is your best bet. Also, check the traveling cart every Friday and Sunday, the merchant sometimes sells Winter Root. It's a bit of luck, but it can save you some time hunting for it.
