Craft Frost Resistance Mead using Honey, Thistle, Bloodbags, and Greydwarf Eyes at the cauldron. Wolves and drakes will be your main enemies after that.
All you need is a good frost resistance buff and maybe a death wish. JK, but seriously, do prep for the cold.
First thing's first, you'll need some frost resistance mead or warm gear like the Wolf Armor to survive. Those mountains don't mess around with the cold!
Always have good armor and weapons. Trust me, the drakes and wolves up there are no joke.
