Growing chickens in Stardew Valley is pretty simple! First up, you need to buy a coop from Robin at the Carpenter's shop. Then, head over to Marnie's Ranch to buy your chickens. Pop them in the coop, make sure to feed them every day, and don't forget to show them some love by petting them. Eggs every morning, here you come!

Just buy them. No need to overcomplicate things. Get a coop, buy the chickens from Marnie, feed them, pet them. Easy peasy.

So I've been raising chickens in Stardew for ages, and here's a pro tip: make sure your coop is upgraded for automatic feeding if you hate doing chores like me. Saves a ton of time and lets you focus on other farm activities or villager quests. Petting your chickens daily boosts their happiness which means higher quality eggs - so don鈥檛 skip on the love!
