To grow grass in Stardew Valley, you gotta get yourself some Grass Starter from Pierre’s General Store or JojaMart. Just plant it on any tillable ground. No watering needed, it grows on its own. Super easy!

Buy Grass Starter from Pierre's. Plant. Done. Grass grows by itself, no water needed. Easy peasy.

Protip: Fence in your grass area and let it grow wild before letting animals graze. Maximizes efficiency and you won’t run out of grass.

I found the hard way that animals eat grass like there's no tomorrow. Start with a fence and plant grass inside. Give it time to grow before you let your animals out.

Grass in Stardew? Just pop a Grass Starter on the ground and watch it spread like wildfire. Keep it away from your crops though, it spreads FAST.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
