To grow a mahogany tree in Stardew Valley, you'll need to get your hands on a mahogany seed first. You can find these by shaking or chopping down mahogany trees, from slimes in the Secret Woods, or as a rare drop from Golden Coconuts. Once you've got your seed, plant it directly in the ground anywhere on your farm (except for the beach). Just make sure there's enough space around it – mahogany trees need an empty tile in all directions to grow. Watering isn't necessary, so just sit back and wait for it to mature!

Mahogany trees are awesome for hardwood but remember, they take a while to grow. I planted mine and kinda forgot about them, then bam, hardwood galore! Be patient, and you'll be rewarded.

Just toss a mahogany seed into the dirt and play the waiting game. No water needed, these trees are low maintenance.
