To hatch eggs in Stardew Valley, you'll need a Big Coop or Deluxe Coop first. Once you've upgraded your coop, place the egg inside the incubator, which is that nifty little machine located in your coop. Then, just wait! Chicken eggs take 5 in-game days to hatch, while duck, dinosaur, and void eggs take longer. Patience is key, my farming friend.

Just pop those eggs in the incubator in your upgraded coop, and BOOM, waiting game begins. Remember, no instant chickens here, it's all about that farm life patience.

Not to burst your bubble, but you can't hatch eggs with a basic coop. Upgrade it, and then you're in the chick-hatching business!

Word of advice: don't try hatching supermarket eggs. Only the ones you find or your animals produce. Stardew Valley ain't that kind of magical!
