Tbh, just ask a friend with a beefy PC to host it... not worth the hassle IMO.

I set one up by using a reliable server hosting service. It's a bit pricier, but way less hassle. Just search for 'Valheim server hosting' and tons of options pop up.

I've done it! Get the Valheim Dedicated Server from Steam tools. Edit the .bat file with your server name, world name, and password. Run the .bat file and invite friends. Enjoy your Viking adventures!

Pro tip: Make sure your firewall settings allow connections to your server. Otherwise, your friends might not be able to join.

...you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

This includes gift cards from all your favorite brands, like Amazon, Starbucks, Apple, Roblox, and many, many more!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
