Infecting Kaitlyn is a multi-step process. First, make sure she gets scratched by a werewolf. To do this, during the lodge attack in Chapter 9, fail the QTE (quick-time event) so the werewolf scratches her instead of killing her. Then, let her survive until dawn. Good luck!
