Just feed em and pet em. Chickens aren’t complicated creatures. They like food, a bit of fresh air, and the occasional head scratch. Keep it simple.

To keep your chickens happy in Stardew Valley, make sure to pet them every day and ensure they have enough food. Chickens eat either hay (which you can store in a silo and dispense in their coop) or fresh grass if you let them outside. Also, letting them roam outside on sunny days boosts their happiness!

Chickens just need food, water, and love. Think of them like a Tamagotchi that gives you eggs.

Honestly, it's all about showing them love and making sure they've got enough to eat. I've noticed they seem happier and lay better quality eggs when I let them out to peck around. Plus, petting them daily and ensuring their home is clean makes a huge difference. Just like any pet, if you're good to them, they'll be good to you.

Make sure their coop is upgraded too! Happy chickens in a spacious, high-quality coop drop more valuable products. It’s an investment that pays off.
