Keeping your spouse happy in Stardew Valley is all about the little things. Give them their favorite gifts (a quick online search will tell you what they love), remember their birthday, and don’t let your pet or farm animals block their way in the house. They appreciate it when their home is clutter-free and when you add decorations or furniture that they like. Make sure to talk to them every day for that extra bit of happiness!

Honestly... just don't ignore them. I forgot to talk to my Stardew spouse for like a week because I was mining, and they got pretty bummed out. Regular chats and a gift here and there really do the trick. It's like real life, but with less complexity and more pixelated chickens.

Just talk to them and give gifts. Seriously, that’s it. Spouses in Stardew are simple folks. They like attention and presents. Keep it up, and you'll be golden.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
