How to kill Blob in Valheim
I always go for the ranged attack approach. Keep your distance and use a bow, or make sure you have some good armor and weapons if you're going to melee. Oh, and avoid that poison cloud!

Fire arrows are your best friend against Blobs! Just aim, shoot, and watch them burn.
Equip a good shield and sword, keep an eye on their poison clouds, and hack away. Not too hard once you get the hang of it!
