How to LAN Stardew Valley
To play Stardew Valley in LAN, both players need to have the game installed. Start Stardew Valley, open the Co-op menu, and one player should choose 'Host' to create a farm or load an existing one. The other should select 'Co-op' and then 'LAN Game' to find the hosted game. Make sure you're connected to the same network!

Just a heads up, Stardew Valley LAN isn't a thing in the traditional sense. You play 'together' by being on the same Wi-Fi. Host starts a game, friends join through Co-op. Bam, you're in. Farming with friends, minus the dirt.
Stardew doesn't officially support traditional LAN play like some old-school games. But, you can still play together without going online by connecting to the same network. Host the game normally and others can join through the 'Co-op' -> 'LAN Game' option. Just like magic, but with more farming.
