I had to do this to get better performance. Go to your Steam library, right-click Valheim, select 'Properties', then type '-force-vulkan' in the launch options. Easy peasy!

Super easy! Just open Steam, find Valheim in your library, right-click it, select 'Properties', then click 'Set launch options' and type in '-force-vulkan'. Boom, you're done!
