How to Lay Out Sprinklers in Stardew Valley
DemonstratingUnit路8 months agoFor Iridium Sprinklers, maximize efficiency by placing them in the center of a 5x5 grid. This way, you cover more ground with fewer sprinklers. And always put them on your farm where you plan to grow crops the longest because moving them is a hassle.

Sprinkler layout in Stardew Valley is like playing Tetris with your farm. For the basic sprinkler, you'll want to place them one square away from each other in every direction since they water the 4 adjacent tiles. But when you upgrade to Quality Sprinklers, space them out to cover 8 surrounding tiles, basically every second tile in a grid pattern. And the big daddy, Iridium Sprinklers, leave two tiles between them because they cover a whopping 24 tiles around them. So, think of it as a checkerboard for Quality Sprinklers and a slightly wider checkerboard for Iridium. Also, don鈥檛 forget to leave space for scarecrows to protect your precious crops!
Honestly, just jam those Iridium Sprinklers everywhere. When late game hits, you'll have more than you know what to do with.
