To let your chickens out in Stardew Valley, first make sure you have a coop. Then, simply interact with the small door on the front of the coop to open it. Your chickens will happily wander out during the day to peck at the ground. Just remember to close the door at night to keep them safe from any wild animals!

Just right-click or tap on the little door of your chicken coop. Chickens will walk out and feed on grass, which makes them happy and gives you better quality eggs. Pro tip: Plant grass starters outside the coop so they have plenty to eat!

Open the door, let them roam, close it at night. Easy peasy.

Honestly? Chickens in Stardew are pretty low maintenance. Open the coop door in the morning, close it at night. Makes you wish real chickens were this easy to handle.
